Christmas Tags

This is one of my favorite classes all year.  They are all like tiny little cards, and it is so much fun to play around with them.  I could keep going but I stopped at 15, and everyone made 2 of each - that's 30 tags!  I love picking just the right tag for each package and recipient.

Vacation Stamping School

Last weekend I went to Champaign to a day long gathering of stampers.  I was asked to do a demonstration in the demonstration fair, and I had a great time with the new stamp set Still Scenes.  I'll be posting closer pictures on Facebook in the days to come and sharing some of my tips and tricks.

Creativity is Calling Card Class

My friends Julie Davison and Jessica Ingold and I have been hosting card classes for both the Occasions and Holiday catalogs for several years.  I am excited that this year we are going to offer a shorter Friday night card class featuring products from the new annual catalog!  It is available as an in person or to go class.  It will be Friday, June 7 in Rochester, Illinois.  Click here for more details.

Butterfly Gala Sponging

The new Butterfly Gala stamp set has so many fun possibilities when it comes to adding color. You can use some of the images in the stamp set to add wing color, you can color with Stampin' Blends or markers or the easiest way of all - sponging!

Sponge you light color with a sponge dauber.

Add an additional color or colors with a new sponge dauber.  If you are just making one card, you can sponge from light to dark with just one dauber.  I planned to make several so I used a clean dauber for my second color.

Punch the butterfly out and get rid of the "messiness" of the sponging.

Finish your card!
