Shimmery Swallowtail Double Slider
Here's another of my favorite slider cards. Have you noticed I've been writing that about most all of them? This one is already so shimmery and pretty, and then you pull out the side panels for an added surprise.

Happy Birthday Giraffe Slider Card
Once I started making these slider cards, the ideas started coming to me and I was looking for creative ways to show the versatility of this type of card. This will be my last post of a slider card I made for my demo, but I don't think this will be the last slider card for me. I made 3 different types of slider cards so you'll be seeing lots more posts of double and triple tier slider cards, but I have to say this "single" slider could be my favorite. There is still the dramatic flair of pulling it out to reveal what's hidden behind, but this card is no more difficult than a "regular" card.
It's obvious from the cut showing above the fence there is something more to come, but until you pull, there's no way to know it's a pair of giraffes! And judging from the comments made during my demo, this was a favorite of my fellow stampers.

Cheers - Mojo Monday Style
I have been so busy making slider cards that I decided to take a few minutes to create a "just for fun" card. I like to do a challenge from time to time because most of my cards are created with a specific class in mind, and on these I can do whatever I want. I'll have to admit it took me a little time to figure this one out which is the other reason I like to do challenges like Mojo Monday. I have to get out of my box and create something with someone else's design.
Road to Happiness Beachy Slider Card
I had to stop myself at two cards from the Road to Happiness stamp set - it's so versatile I could have done so many more! I used my brayer to create this "sunburst" for the background and a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge for the sand. Definitely makes me think of warm summery days!

Lemon Bars
For tonight's Stamp-a-Stack treat, I made this lemon bar recipe from Pinterest. I like to try something new when I have a house full of people to help me eat it. I had a little bit of the corner last night after this cooled off and it's pretty tasty. Hard to believe it is a two ingredient recipe!

Road to Happiness Slider Card
Here's my first of 2 cards using Road to Happiness. I loved how easy a slider card was with the car driving across the front. Cutting the cans out took a little time but so much cuter with them dangling behind the car. Check back again soon to see what else I did with this set. Thanks Rae Anne for loaning it to me! If you want to see some of my other slider cards, click here and here.

Blast Off Slider Card
Here's another one of my favorite slider cards from my Spring into Stamping demo. It happened to be the very first one I did, but how can you go wrong with this stamp set? Thanks to Rae Anne for loaning it along with a few others that lend themselves to a slider card. Cutting through 2 layers on my paper cutter was not easy and if I had to do it again, I would go right to the hobby blade. For the card I did with 3 layers, the hobby blade was the only option.
There are so many great stamps in this set that it was easy to decorate inside and out. I had to be careful not to put the rocket too far to the right or it would have gone off the edge of the card and not fit in the envelope.
Check back for more slider card samples this week!

Spring into Stamping
Thanks to my friend Mary Ellen I have photographic proof that I did a demo at Spring into Stamping. I meant to take a picture of my display board and completely forgot. I had a hard time figuring out how to display my cards because they needed to be easy enough for people to see, but I wanted them to be able to slide them if they wanted to. I ended up putting them on my Velcro display board, and I sure hope the Velcro dots I put on the back will peel off ok now that I am done. Here's a sneak peek of my next post.

Hello Friend Slider Card
Yesterday was the 9th Annual Spring into Stamping event hosted by my Impeckable Stampers group. As always, it was great fun! I wasn't a demo for the very first event but haven't missed one since I joined. In fact my first one was when I was just "thinking" about joining as a demo. Deep down, I knew I was going to go for it, but that event sealed the deal. I've been to a number of regional and national conventions and this event it right up there! And best of all, I get to visit with some of my stamping friends. This year we had ladies from Pennsylvania and California!!
I was asked to do a demonstrations during the demo fair this year and this is one of my favorite cards. While half of the group does make-n-takes, the other half gets to check out the demo booths out in the hallway. I demonstrated Slider Cards of all kinds - single, double, and triple. So check back to see some more of my work in the coming days.
Thanks to Rae Anne for loaning me this Zoo Review stamp set (used it for another of my favs too). After creating a few slider cards, I had the idea to hide a penguin behind the iceberg. I pulled the Hello Friend words from Peachy Keen because it was perfect for the penguin friend sliding out to join his penguin buddy.

Birthday Wishes Card in a Box
Here's one more card in a box. It didn't make the cut for the card in a box class I did a couple of weeks ago, but it was too cute not to share. The birthday packages are my favorite section!
