At the end of the school year, I make note cards with my
students so they can practice their writing skills by writing letters in the
summer. I stamp and address one to me,
and I encourage the kids to write me a letter with the promise that I'll write
back. It's so much fun to go to the
mailbox and find one of their letters.
Last year was my first year to do this, and they trickled in throughout
the summer.
Some year I will be organized and will have a stack of cards ready to send back as soon as I get a letter from one of my students, but for now, I am creating as they come in. So today I had fun making a teacherish card to send
back to two of my kids. I want some
bigger words and have my eye on the hostess set You're Delightful for future
cards.
I used some retired products with the kids and on my own cards, but I did use the new Crafting Forever stamp set and masked the stamp with the 3 pens so only one stamped on the card. Such a fun set!
