October To Go Card Kits

After October my stamping will be all Christmas all the time.  So for October to go kits, you will get the supplies to make 8 cards (2 each of 4 designs) which will include cards that can be fall or Thanksgiving.  All you have to supply is the adhesive, ink and greeting stamps.  Everything else is pre-cut for you.  

If you are local we can arrange a porch pick up ($20) and I can mail your kit for $24.

Fall Fest Jack-o-lanterns

Here's one of the cards we will be making at tonight's last minute Halloween card class.  I had to cancel my monthly stamp-a-stack earlier in the month, so this is a chance for anyone needing a quick Halloween card to make a couple of quick cards and call it a night.  I am making two cards using Fall Fest but they are very different cards.  Click here to see the other card.  Just to mix things up a bit, I folded this so that it folds out in layers to reveal more of the moon.

Boo to You Fall Fest Halloween Card

Halloween's coming soon so I got busy today and created a few Halloween cards.  I thought the faces in the Fall Fest stamp set would be perfect for this card and instead of doing a Jack-o-lantern, I went with a ghost.  I have some stampers who are big fans of the bling, so I couldn't resist using the glimmer paper for this guy.

Mojo Monday 316 Halloween Card

 

I was feeling like a challenge so I went over to Mojo Monday to check out their layout.  When I saw it, I immediately thought of September's My Paper Pumpkin kit. 

 

My finished card isn't quite like my vision, but it was fun creating anyway!  I used the base with the spider web-ish design from My Paper Pumpkin and added stamps, ribbon, washi tape and a button to it.

Halloween Tag a Bag Gift Box

These eyeball soaps are going to my niece and nephew for Halloween.  I knew when I saw them in the store they would be perfect for a Tag a Bag gift box!  I folded the box up stamped a tag and was ready to go.  The hardest part was tying the bakers twine without flipping the eyeballs upside down in the box.

Halloween Happiness

I knew I wanted this Halloween Happiness stamp from the Holiday Catalog first time through the catalog.  It makes such a cute Halloween card with just a little coloring (directly on the stamp).  I wanted to add a little bling so a strip of glitter paper was just what I needed.

Pennants are pretty popular these days in card and scrapbook making.  I decided I better get in on the pennant action too with my latest Halloween stamp-a-stack.  We used the Howlstooth and Scaringbone Designer Series Paper and the hostess stamp set, Wacky Wishes.

Halloween Purses

 

The petite purse die has so many possibilities beyond just a purse.  I made the Frankenstein with stamp club, and my friend, Rae Anne, made the jack o' lantern as a party favor for scrapbook club.  Imagine all of the other characters you can make!

Frightening Feline Halloween

This card was made by fellow demonstrator and friend, Rae Anne Littrell.  Isn't it the cutest?  It's made with Frightening Feline from the holiday catalog.  She created this card for a swap and was voted to win a prize by other demonstrators.

Trick or Treat

Have you had enough Halloween candy yet?  I think I might have had a record number of trick or treaters last night, and the kids at school were full of trick or treating stories today!

We made this last month at club, and those ladies had the patience to make a pattern with their M & Ms.  As you can see, that wasn't what I was going for. 

These fun little cello bags are great for a small but unique treat.  Just think of the possibilities for Christmas!

Spooky Spider Shaker Card

Well you might not be able to tell from this picture, but this is a shaker card using the new shaker frames.  I put Dazzling Diamonds and mica flakes in it, but with the card standing up, you can't see any of that.  You'll just have to trust me ;-)  I was kind of excited to find yet another use for the spider web embossing folder, and boy are these shaker frames easier to use than double sided tape that I would have to cut in strips and piece together!

Festive & Fun Happy Halloween

Here is a fun way to use the spider web embossing folder and the new Festive & Fun set from the holiday mini.  I used a blender pen for the coloring for that watercolorish look.

A New Twist on the Owl Punch

This card may look familiar to you.  I just switched out the bat punch on the spinner for an owl punch.  Punch an owl from white, cut the feet off and you've got a ghost!

Another Spooky Spider Web Treat Holder

Here's another quick treat holder for Halloween.  This one obviously works best with longer treats, but it's another chance to use the Spooky Spider Web Embossing Folder. 

I wanted a little more contrast on the black cardstock so I inked my embossing folder up with White Craft ink (using a brayer) before I put the cardstock in and sent it through the Big Shot.  This is the same technique I used on this card several months ago.  I used the scallop square die, punched a hole at the top and tied it shut to create this "Halloween taco".  You might recognize the Eek You're Sweet from the center of a stamp in the Sweet Centers set.

Halloween Spinner

I had to have the Bitty Bat punch when the new catalog came out, and after a long wait, we are in the season for bat making!  My stamp club will be making this spinner card Tuesday night.  It features the bat punch inside and out.  For added dimension, I scored the wings on a couple of the bats.  We also used the jumbo wheel, Frightful Fences, and the sentiment came from Grateful Greetings.

I am getting ready for this Friday's Stamp-a-Stack where we'll be making a Halloween card, a Fall card and a Thanksgiving card.  I made some changes to this Halloween card I made for my convention swap for our first one.
