Weekend Stamp-a-Stack Recap – So Much Fun

What a wonderful weekend of stamping fun!  I hosted two Stamp Stack sessions—one Friday night and another on Saturday—and both were full of laughter, creativity, and great company. It’s always a joy to gather with friends (new and returning!) and spend time making something beautiful together.

We created eight cards total—two of each of four different designs—so everyone went home with a nice stash ready to mail. I love offering a wide variety of greeting stamps, so each person can personalize their cards for birthdays, thank yous, thinking of you, sympathy, or whatever they need most. It’s always fun to see the unique combinations everyone comes up with!

If you missed out, don’t worry! I’ve got tutorials to help you create some of these cards at home:

🎥 Peaceful View "Happy Birthday" Card
This one was featured in my last blog post—if you didn’t catch it, be sure to scroll back and take a look! Watch it on YouTube here!

I love how each card turned out, and it’s even better knowing they’ll be sent out to brighten someone’s day. 💌

Thank you to everyone who joined me—I can’t wait to stamp with you again soon!

Until then, keep sharing kindness—one card at a time.

Ice Cream Stand Up Card

No Designer Series Paper?  No problem!  Sweet Ice Cream is a great set!  Everyone loves ice cream in the summer, and I’ve made another fun fold that stands up when you take it out of the envelope.

For the card base, start with a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.  Coming in from the side, score at 2" and 3 1/8".  I find it easiest to turn the card and do the same thing from the other side.  Less mesurements to worry about that way - you do the same thing on both sides.

Flap Fold Card

A few months ago I attended and area demonstrator meeting where we made a card almost like this one.  It was a popular card in my samples basket so I remade it using the new I Like You hostess set. Thanks Julie Davison for the beautiful card idea.

Fun Fold Butterfly Card

I was looking back through my old cards and came across a cute card made by my friend, Tracy, with this fun little flap at the top.  So I decided I'd make one using the Papillon Potpourri set because who doesn't love a butterfly card?

Double Z Fold Christmas

With a few score lines using the Simply Scored tool, this is a pretty quick but fancy looking card.  But the part I really like is the belly band.  Did you notice the Dazzling Details on the berries is red?  Mix reinker into the Dazzling Details and make your own custom color.

Bold Blossom Fun Fold

Here's one of our recent stamp club projects.  This fun fold was demonstrated at the Stampin' Up! leadership convention, and the great demonstrators in our group who attended came back and taught us this an much more!

Start with a 3 x 12 piece of cardstock.  Make a diagonal cut from the bottom corner up on the back side of the card.

Make a diagonal cut from the top corner down on the front piece.  The best way to find a meeting spot for the two cuts is to use your paper piercer to poke the hole.  Then make the cuts from there.

I used Bold Blossom and the free Sale-a-bration ribbon from the Ribbon & Button pack to finish off the card.  Let me know if you would like to take advantage of Sale-a-bration and get some free goodies too!
