Cuppa Cocoa Inspiration Challenge Get Well

My friend Stacey over at Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge posted this Cuppa Cocoa challenge today.  And since I have been trying to mix up my colors and layouts a little lately, I thought this would be a great challenge for me.  It's a fun challenge because it's wide open and there are so many different ways to go with your creations!  Although I knew I didn't have to feature hot chocolate or coffee, that was the direction my inspiration was taking me.  Only problem was that I am not a coffee drinker and don't really have the right set for this card.  So I went into my retired stamp sets that I can't possibly part with and found this Scentsational Season Christmas set.  I didn't necessarily intend it to be a get well card when I started, but so many of my friends have been under the weather lately that I thought I would probably have a chance to use it before long.  I used my new On Film framelit which just might be my new favorites.

Get Well Tissue Holder

I planned to do a tissue holder sometime this cold and flu season with my stamp club.  So when I came across this idea on Pinterest, the search was over.  Babs has a link on her blog to You Tube directions by Dee.  If you line it up carefully when putting together, it will fold down and store flat and could fit in a care package.

Embossed Get Well

How's this for a cheery get well card?  This isn't double embossing like I have been posting a lot of lately, but it starts the same way.  Attach chipboard with an oval cut out to the back of an embossing folder.  The section with chipboard on the back will emboss, but the center oval will remain smooth.  Then you can stamp away!

Raining Flowers Get Well

This stamp set was one I got free when I attended convention last summer.  I am so glad I did because it makes wonderful cards, but I probably wouldn't have bought it myself.  Sometimes you just have to see some great samples before you can see the potential for a stamp set, and Stampin' Up! does a great job with samples!

New Stamps!

I got a chance to use some of my new Occasions Mini catalog products at this weekend's stamp-a-stack.  This card uses one of the new Edgelit Dies and the new stamp set, Bordering on Romance.  We stamped the image with StazOn and colored it in using blender pens.  Several of the ladies made great thinking of you and birthday cards with this design.

A Little Pickup

What stamper hasn't made a card they just didn't want to use? Well this is my newest version of a card I made with my upline, Shirley, several years ago. It occurred to me I could just make more, so I sat down and made a 4 x 4 version of this card. The wheel is no longer available but I just couldn't resist using it again. I used the little flower out of Flight of the Butterfly and of course the truck and sentiment came from Loads of Love.

Manly Get Well Soon

I am putting the finishing touches on the project I am demonstrating this weekend, and let's just say my kitchen and I are covered with glitter. So today's card is from the archives. I made this last year at Rae Anne's house trying to make use of all of her stamp sets that I didn't own. I have since purchased this set (actually, I think I earned it free!) and have used it tons. However, I seem to use the flowers more, but this makes a nice manly card.

Get Well Wishes

I designed this card to hold a tea bag or an instant soup packet. But it could easily double as a thinking of you or birthday card too. This uses the With All My Heart stamp set - much more than a Valentine's Day set!

Supplies: With All My Heart stamp set, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Summer Sun, Whisper White cardstock, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Summer Sun, Basic Black ink, slit punch
