Birthday Spinner Card

Have you made a slider card before? Long ago I used a razor blade or the word window punch, but not anymore! The new Sliding Star framelits are fantastic. There is a coordinating stamp set, Shooting Star, but I did not order it. There are so many uses for the framelits even without the coordinating stamp set. This card was inspired by my friend Cheryl, who demonstrated several creative ways to use the framelits. And last night at stamp class, this one was one of the favorites of my stampers.

Flap Fold Card

A few months ago I attended and area demonstrator meeting where we made a card almost like this one. It was a popular card in my samples basket so I remade it using the new I Like You hostess set. Thanks Julie Davison for the beautiful card idea.

Hello

Here's one more card I made while playing around with retiring stamp sets. I just love the swirly hello and may not be able to part with that now retired set. I added the current Petite Petal flower to jazz up the card a little. It made a quick thinking of you card!
