Betsy's Blossoms

Here's a quick Betsy's Blossoms card I made as I was trying to create a swap.  You can see the card I ending up making here.  As you can see, I went an entirely different direction, but that's the beauty of stamping - a change in colors and/or layout make an entirely different card with the same stamp set.

Betsy's Blossoms Scrapbook Page for Tonight

This layout was designed with a January 2011 C K Sketch as my inspiration.  I liked this layout because it allowed for fairly big pictures and allowed for several on the page.  You might be wondering about flowers and NYC pictures together - - and the clever title.  Those pictures are just barely tacked down and the letters are attached to the photos. So after my vacation, they are coming out and all I have to do is drop in some new pictures and voila - two pages done!  But it was just too hard to visualize without some pictures so I pulled out some extra, unused photos from a trip taken back in the days of developing film.  I knew I needed to keep them for some reason ;-)

Betsy's Blossom's Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek of one of the new stamp sets in the just about to be release 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! catalog.  Betsy's Blossoms has some other flowers not pictured in this sample with a lot of possibilities.  I like how the little birdy's wing matches the big flower so I decided to focus on these two stamps.  I created this card for a swap I am in with fellow demonstrators.  We all chose a stamp set to use from the list of sets available for demonstrator pre-order.  But don't worry - you can start ordering them this Friday, June 1.  If you need a catalog, let me know, and watch for my June newsletter next week with more information about our great new products.
