Basket Bunches Sucker Holder

I was finishing up putting away the goodies from the retreat I went to a few weekends ago, and I wanted to share this cutie my friend Liz made.  Look at all of the pieces and detail she put into each sucker holder!  There were 18 of us so it kept her busy for a while!

Cool Treats Holder

Doesn't this paper and stamp set just make you think about warm weather?  It's going to be record breaking warm today so I'm getting my stamping done this morning and plan some yard work for this afternoon.

We'll be making this clever little box Tuesday night at my stamp class.  The Cool Treats stamp set and product suite is about my all time favorite in this catalog!

Sealed with Love Team Gifts

Several years ago, I decided instead of trying to put together a gift for my team members during the hustle and bustle of Christmas, I would give them a little something in January.  It gives me time to order brand new product, and it's a surprise gift for them after the gifting season.  This year, I am hosting a team meeting January 15 and will have their goodies for them then.  In addition we will have some play time with new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration products.  Team members who can't make it or live out of state will get a surprise later in the mail!

Have you ever thought about doing what I do?  Or have you considered joining for the discount on your personal purchases?  Sale-A-Bration begins January 4, and it’s the best time of year to join Stampin’ Up! During Sale-A-Bration, you can become a demonstrator for just $99 and choose two additional free stamp sets for your Starter Kit—any stamp set, any price! (Excludes Sale-A-Bration sets and bundles.) Plus, the kit ships for free!  And if you join soon, you'll get to join us for our January 15 Great Minds Ink Alike team meeting! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Diaper Fold Treat Holder

My upline, Meg, sent me a packet of goodies for Christmas.  It was fun to play around and make this diaper fold treat holder today!

Decorative Corner Cards

Recently I did a demonstration for my Stampin' sisters at a local Stampin' Up! demonstrator meeting. I decided these decorative corner cards would be great for my demo because I 'd never made one. They fit in a standard envelope when flattened, but they stand on their own and make an interesting decoration for the lucky recipient.

Marquee Shaker Cards

This new Marquee Messages stamp set is so much fun.  I made a couple of options for my stamp class last week.  They both had paper piecing, but we left the So Saffron card on the white background without trimming it down.  The sequins are leftovers from my July Paper Pumpkin kit - lucky timing for some extra pieces!

4th of July Waterfall Card

A few years ago, I received this swap from Debbie Jones.  I recreated it for my stamp club, and it remains one of my favorite projects.  I almost mailed it this year, but no - looks like I get to hold on to it for another year!

Pull the ribbon tab and watch the waterfall!

The great thing about waterfall cards is that they are so impressive but really not that hard to make.  You can find a step by step tutorial at Splitcoaststampers.com if you want to try your own.

Supplies:  July Fourth stamp set, Night of Navy ink, Real Red, Brilliant Blue, Whisper White cardstock, Navy Grosgrain Ribbon, Eyelet, Brads, Crop-a-Dile

Foxy Friend Popcorn Box

This cute Foxy Friends stamp set was one I knew I needed to buy when I got my first look at the catalog.  Oh and the popcorn box thinlit - that one too!  So I combine two of my new favorites for a project for stamp class last week. But that piece of DSP from the A Little Foxy Designer Series paper Stack added that extra touch.

Chalkboard Technique Easel Birthday Card

Oh I just love this card!  We did it at my embossing class and it features the chalkboard technique.  Angie Hutton's blog gave me the idea to actually make it into an easel when doing a quick search on Pinterest for Chalkboard Technique.  To create a chalkboard technique project, emboss with white embossing powder.  Then with a sponge, dab white ink on the dark cardstock to "smudge" it and make it look like a used chalkboard.

St. Patrick's Day Plate

Here's my March swap to replace the Valentine plate I posted yesterday.  I've got it on an end table with a small Longaberger basket.  I must say they look good together!  The glass plate doesn't photograph well so I included two shots.

Best Year Ever Treat Bags

These cute little treat bags went together in a snap.  They feature the Sale-a-bration Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper and were made with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit in the Occasions catalog.  The banner and "for you" are two of the many accessories that come with the thinlit.

Those of you who follow me on Facebook have already seen these as I was getting ready for my open house yesterday.  If you don't follow me, click here for occasion updates and samples and a glimpse into my creative space.

Santa Bow

By request, we made this Santa bow at my last stamp class.  I've been seeing him on Pinterest since last year, and when one of my stampers asked if we could make it, I was happy to agree.  I used directions from Amber but there are a few variations out there depending on your supplies.  He looks great on one of our take out boxes or on a package, but we stuck him on a card front in class.

Holiday Coasters

I think I did pretty well in our demonstrator gift exchange!  My friend, Claudia Kirby, made these great coasters, and I just love the cute packaging.

Hello Friend Slider Card

Yesterday was the 9th Annual Spring into Stamping event hosted by my Impeckable Stampers group.  As always, it was great fun!  I wasn't a demo for the very first event but haven't missed one since I joined.  In fact my first one was when I was just "thinking" about joining as a demo.  Deep down, I knew I was going to go for it, but that event sealed the deal.  I've been to a number of regional and national conventions and this event it right up there!  And best of all, I get to visit with some of my stamping friends.  This year we had ladies from Pennsylvania and California!!

I was asked to do a demonstrations during the demo fair this year and this is one of my favorite cards.  While half of the group does make-n-takes, the other half gets to check out the demo booths out in the hallway.  I demonstrated Slider Cards of all kinds - single, double, and triple.  So check back to see some more of my work in the coming days.

Thanks to Rae Anne for loaning me this Zoo Review stamp set (used it for another of my favs too).  After creating a few slider cards, I had the idea to hide a penguin behind the iceberg.  I pulled the Hello Friend words from Peachy Keen because it was perfect for the penguin friend sliding out to join his penguin buddy.

Card in a Box Birthday

This was fun to put together.  It was so much fun, that I have a group of stampers coming next week to make one with me!  I am also going to design another card in a box for them to create.  Check back for more samples and directions.

Happy ValentineTWINES Day

I wanted to make a few Valentines for my stamping friends, and when I saw this idea on Pinterest I knew I could do it with my Stampin' Up! bakers twine.  I pulled out a variety of current and retired twine for a nice variety of Valentine "cards".  You can see the original on my Valentine's Day board

Valentine Treats

I am reposting these Valentine treats because it has been one of my most popular posts.  I first made these a few years ago and posted them on Splitcoaststampers.com where they made the picture a featured upload!  You can check out this post for the details.

You're Lovely Flower Pot

I saw these little flower pots and I knew the shape was perfect for the modern deco labels framelit.  Better yet, I could use the Sale-a-bration (starts today!!) You're Lovely stamp set to decorate the top.  I took the cardboard wrapper off and traced it on a piece from the Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper and reassemble for a few appreciation gifts for some of my stamping friends.

Halloween Tag a Bag Gift Box

These eyeball soaps are going to my niece and nephew for Halloween.  I knew when I saw them in the store they would be perfect for a Tag a Bag gift box!  I folded the box up stamped a tag and was ready to go.  The hardest part was tying the bakers twine without flipping the eyeballs upside down in the box.

Kind & Cozy Button Jar

It's hard to tell, but this cute little jar is full of buttons.  I was looking for a quick little Stampin' Up gift and the Kind & Cozy stamp set made it easy.  The gingham ring fits the jar lid perfectly, and all I had to do was dress it up with a piece of Costal Cabana ribbon.
