Reindeer Season's Greetings Christmas Card

I've always loved plaid so when I flipped through the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper, this piece jumped out at me!  And it paired pretty well with a glittery reindeer!  I needed a bigger greeting so I pulled this favorite out of the Snowflake Sentiments.

Singing Reindeer Punch Art

Over the years, there have been different versions of this carol singing reindeer out there, but I have never made one.  As different tools come and go, the reindeer change their looks just a bit, but that's the great thing about crafting... you can always come up with something.  Thanks to fellow demo Linda Parker for some inspiration.

The Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper makes a perfect background with my Sahara Sand, Basic Black and Whisper White reindeer.  And here are some of the other tools I used!

If you'd like to make your own, you can order anytime through my online store, but you can take advantage of our Cyber Monday free shipping on Monday only.  Better yet -- come to my weekend stamp-a-stacks and make some with my pre-cut materials!

Christmas Tags

It's time for our annual Christmas tags class. We'll be meeting Tuesday night and making two of each of these tags. It's so much fun to pull out all my supplies and create for this class!

I still plan to create a box to hold all of these lovelies!  Follow my Great Minds Ink Alike Facebook page if you'd like to see it!

Sweet Home Christmas

I think this Sweet Home stamp set is so much fun.  Even though we think of them as 3-Ds, I used the Home a sweet Home dies for the door and banner and got even more use out of them.  Do you like the little gingerbread man picking out of the door?  I cut him from the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper.

Thoughtful Branches Christmas

Here's one of the three cards we made tonight using the Thoughtful Branches set. It is available in August, while supplies last.

Christmas Tags!

Tomorrow night is my annual Christmas tag making class.  It's always a fun group, and it's even more fun picking a cute tag for my Christmas gifts!

We will make this little Santa fry box first to store the tags in as we create.

My desk after creating all of these lovelies.

Here's a final shot of all of the tags.  Which one is your favorite?

Snow Place Fun

I had some fun putting together some cards with my new Snow Place stamp set from the soon to be release holiday catalog.  If you don't have a demonstrator and would like a copy, please let me know.
I am actually making one of these cards for a swap I am doing with fellow demonstrators.  I put out a question about your favorite on my Facebook page.  Check it out if you want to weigh in.

Christmas Tags

A few were inspired by or cased from a swap I did in September, and the rest were created by pulling out every Christmas stamp set I had and using one or more stamp from each set.

White Christmas Reindeer Card

This set is so versatile.  I've been making cards with the snowman and polar bear all season, and now I am putting a more rustic spin on it with the Crumb Cake cardstock and Hardwood background stamp.

Endless Wishes Snowflake

What makes this card a fun one is that it is a seemingly normal card until you realized it is a Z fold.  It went together quickly and my stampers seemed to like it.  If it's too plain for you, add some rhinestones for a little extra bling!

Pinwheel Christmas Card

I had designed 2 of the 3 Christmas cards for the last round of Christmas Stamp-a-Stacks for 2014, and I was looking for something different for the last card.  The Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper was just what I needed!  I made about 6 different pinwheels and decided I had to stop!  So I cut the papers for these 3 cards and then my stampers were able to mix and match the fronts and back to create these exact cards or create a pattern of their own - always fun to see what they come up with!

Wondering how to make this card?  Start by adhering two 2 5/8 x 2 5/8 inch squares.

Lightly tack the first 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 inch square down.

Layer the second patterned DSP on top of the first square and stick down with your normal amount of adhesive.

Continue the pattern going around the base piece by placing the new piece on top each time.

When you get to the last square, tuck it under your first piece.  Then you may want to add a little more adhesive to the first square.

To finish off the pinwheel, you may use a brad, button, rhinestone etc. to cover the point where each square meets in the center.

Santa Bow

By request, we made this Santa bow at my last stamp class.  I've been seeing him on Pinterest since last year, and when one of my stampers asked if we could make it, I was happy to agree.  I used directions from Amber but there are a few variations out there depending on your supplies.  He looks great on one of our take out boxes or on a package, but we stuck him on a card front in class.

Fence Post Wonderous Wreath

Isn't this a great way to use the Wonderous Wreath stamp set?  I have been seeing versions of this card all over Pinterest lately so for stamp club, I decided I would CASE Tina's card.  I made a few chanegs, and my stampers all loved it.

Letterpress Winter Snowflake Flip Flop Card

Here's my first card with my new Snowflake Card Thinlit Die and Letterpress Winter stamp set.  I made it for my last stamp-a-stack, and though we had to make a lot of trips to the Big Shot, it turns out to be a pretty great card.

Wonderous Wreath Noel Card

The Wonderous Wreath set is one of my holiday favorites.  We used it at my last stamp-a-stack, and I'm not ruling it out for next month!

Because I've used it recently, I wanted to be sure the cards were different enough.  The  Filigree Frame embossing folder was just what I needed.  It took a nice card to a whole different level.

Holiday Coasters

I think I did pretty well in our demonstrator gift exchange!  My friend, Claudia Kirby, made these great coasters, and I just love the cute packaging.

White Christmas

White Christmas was the first set I ordered from the new holiday catalog.  There were so many to pick from that I decided to pick a favorite first for my demonstrator group swap.  Since then I have ordered many more of my favorites :-)

I used my 2-way glue pen to put Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the trees and in the snow which really adds a lot in real life!  The photopolymer makes it easy to get the snowman situated on the snow just right and also helped to hang the banner from the trees.  No more crossing your fingers and hoping you line it up right!

Wonderous Wreath

This Wonderous Wreath stamp set with coordinating framelits dies makes it so easy to make a "fancy" card. The wreath is a 2 step stamp to give the two colors and then a 3rd stamp adds the berries - easy.  Then run all of the pieces, including joy, through the Big Shot.  It's that simple!

*hint* - layer a piece of wax paper between the framelit and paper to make it easier to release the words.

Deck the Halls with Festival of Trees

This stamp set features a lot of new but one old stamp set too.  My Deck the Halls greeting comes from a retired set, but I just had to add it to a card with Chirstmas trees on it!  I used the new Filigree Frame Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the new Festival of Trees.  This set is photopolymer which makes it very easy to line up the tree decorations.  I will be making this card Friday and Saturday at my stamp-a-stack and I think my stampers will agree.

Endless Wishes Christmas

This card design came from a card swap designed by Julie Davison.  But I didn't have the same stamp set she did so I had to be creative.   I pulled out my new Endless Wishes stamps and used Merry Christmas from Sassy Salutations.  Julie's snowflakes were bigger so I decided to switch up the colors to make my smaller snowflakes seem bolder.  She tied an All Is Calm Snowflake Embellishment to her card which was beautiful, but because I used a different size greeting there really wasn't room.  I added some Rhinestones to bling it up a little bit.
