Shadow Stamping
This was a quick card for our Stamp-a-Stack. I figured with the punch art bunny that we might need one that went a little faster. By stamping twice without reinking in between, we created a shadow look and then stamped a Chocolate Chip sentiment over Regal Rose. Monday, April 4, 2011
Spring into Stamping
I had a great time with my stamping friends Friday night and all day Saturday as I do every year at Spring into Stamping, and I came home with some great ideas, swaps and make-n-takes.
Here is one of the great make-n-takes we did. My newsletter comes out Tuesday and you'll get a peek at another of the projects Julie Davison designed for us. If you don't get my newsletter, sign up in the side bar for a monthly specials update and upcoming events newsletter.

Spring into Stamping Swap Card
I created this card for a swap this weekend at a fantastic event organized by my uplines. Our annual Spring into Stamping is a day full of speakers, demonstrations, make-n-takes and swapping that is like our own mini-convention right here at home! I look forward to it every year. Yet another perk of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Visit my webpage for more information about joining my team, and you can join us next time!Sunday, October 3, 2010
Fall Stamp-a-Stack Card
For our last Stamp-a-Stack card, we made a Fall card using one of my favorite stamp sets, Just Believe. This time we just stamped the whole image with Cherry Cobbler and layered it with Early Espresso cardstock and ribbon for a Fallish look.

Stampin' Up! Weekend
I had quite a stamping weekend! A couple demonstrator friends and I went to the Chicago suburbs to a meeting Thursday night. The bonus for us was that we stayed with another demonstrator friend that we don't get to see very often. We had a great time together, got some good stamping ideas and hit the IKEA store on the way home. We got back to Champaign with enough time to turn around and go to our post-convention ImPECKable Stampers meeting. Those of us who attended convention shared our favorite moments, demonstrated some of the new things we saw at convention and did a fun make-n-take. Then on Saturday, I came home and went to a 2nd grader's birthday party. The 8 girls made purses with the birthday girl's favorite colors and got to fill it with goodies when they were done. I thanked the hostess for helping me "warm up" for next week when school starts.
Here's a peek at the birthday party purse and at my swap. For the swap I used my new stamp set, Just Believe, which I received free at convention.
