Rainy Day Card

Here's another idea from the Stampin' Up regional event I went to a couple of months ago.  No two cards will be alike!  Spray a few drops of reinker mixed with water in a Stampin' Up! spritzer at the top of a piece of watercolor paper.  If you don't like the drippy look, you can spritz a few more times and it will be more solid with color.  I used red, orange, yellow and turquoise.  Give it a little dry time and assemble the card.  I wanted to get this card made before this Million-Dollar Moments hostess set was no longer available - only available through May 31!

Double Z Fold Christmas

With a few score lines using the Simply Scored tool, this is a pretty quick but fancy looking card.  But the part I really like is the belly band.  Did you notice the Dazzling Details on the berries is red?  Mix reinker into the Dazzling Details and make your own custom color.

Dyeing Easter Eggs with Reinkers

Once I tried a few eggs with glitter, I got brave and tried to dye them with Stampin' Up! reinkers. I used about a half cup of water, 1 teaspoon of vinegar and 5 - 10 drops of reinker. I stuck mostly with the Bold Brights family, and I think my favorite was Tempting Turquoise - a robin egg blue color. Since I decided to blow the eggs first, I did have to stir the eggs in the dye every so often since they wanted to float on the top of the water.

These eggs were made with  the Timeless Type Alphabet Junior Sizzlets and Sticky Pages.  Who knew you needed a Big Shot to decorate Easter eggs?
