The Magic of a Terrific Toadstools Gatefold Card

There’s something truly special about a handmade card that surprises and delights the recipient. Enter the Terrific Toadstools Gatefold Card—a design that brings a little fun, whimsy, and an extra layer of excitement to card-making.

A gatefold card is more than just a greeting—it’s an experience. Unlike a traditional card, this design opens in a unique way, creating a moment of curiosity and anticipation. And when paired with the charming Terrific Toadstools theme, it transforms into a whimsical little escape into nature.

The gatefold mechanism adds an unexpected twist, making the act of opening the card part of the fun. If you’re looking to add a little enchantment to your next handmade card, a gatefold design might be just the thing. The combination of surprise and charm makes it a memorable keepsake for the recipient.

A Versatile Heart Shaped Bundle for Every Occasion

I’m absolutely loving the Heart Shaped Bundle, and I have to say—this set is way more versatile than you might think! While hearts are often associated with Valentine’s Day, this design proves that they can be used for so much more. 💚

For this card, I combined Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo to create something perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, or simply sending a sweet note to someone special. The intricate heart frame adds just the right touch of elegance, while the bold pop of color makes the greeting stand out beautifully.

Circle Punch Flowers Card

These circle punch flowers turned out great and are perfect for my to go cards this month!  Per Stampin' Up's policy, I can't pre-stamp anything so I put together kits that don't require any stamping beyond a greeting.  I can punch and die cut so my stampers will have an envelope of circles and leaves to assemble in the comfort of their own homes!

I was able to use 4 of the 5 new 2022-2024 InColors and threw in a little Flirty Flamingo on the center flower.  And the leaves?  They are from the cherry punch!  Isn't that fun?  And the stems are freehand from scraps.  Imagine all the color combinations you can try!

April 2020 Quick and Easy Card Class To Go

Introducing April's Quick and Easy Card Class To Go! I've put together a kit to make 8 cards (2 each of 4 designs) - all you need is a greeting stamp of your choice, ink and adhesive. The kit includes pre-cut card stock, Designer Series Paper, die-cuts, ribbon and envelopes so you can get right to crafting!
This class is available for porch pick up starting tomorrow for $20. This kit can be mailed with the addition of shipping costs.
**Per Stampin' Up! policy I can't provide pre-stamped images, but I designed this class with that in mind. All you need is a greeting stamp(s), a basic ink color and an adhesive of your choice. If you need stamps or ink, we can discuss the purchase of some retired ink colors and stamps to help you complete your kit, or I can make suggestions for ordering the products I used on my cards.

Party Pandas Birthday Card

Who wouldn't like getting this cute Party Panda in the mail?  I've combined it with Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper for this cheerful little greeting.  Both of these products are Sale-a-bration items available for you to choose when you spend $50 or more.

Heartfelt Blooms Sympathy

This beautiful Heartfelt Blooms stamp set is one of the choices you could make from the Sale-a-bration catalog when you spend $50.  It's such a beautiful set and can create a quick card.  With three stamps of the flower and one of the words, the card is done.  I think we all are guilty of trying to make a card "just right" sometimes, when all we need to do is put the ink to the paper and put it in the mail.

Memories and More Ideas

Are you a scrapbooker?  Do you wish you could be a scrapbooker, but you just don't feel like you have the time?  Memories and More is just what you need!  It's a pocket scrapbooking system which makes scrapbooking quick and easy.  You just drop your photos in the pockets and add pre-cut coordinating papers and embellishments.

But have you thought about what else you could do with Memories and More?  Here's where the "More" comes in.  I had a lot of fun creating samples for a demonstrator meeting with 100 of my demonstrator friends on Saturday.

With the help of my friends, Rae Anne and Becky, I have made 2018 calendars with the Color Theory memories and More Card Pack.  They are styled after the Paper Pumpkin calendars from a couple of years ago.  If you click here, you can get a copy of updated 2018 calendar files and make your own!

With the same Color Theory card pack, you can also make seasonal samplers (thanks Rae Anne and Becky).  And you'll still have leftover cards for scrapbooking, card making and more!

One of the many things I like about using the Memories and More card packs is that they offer a lot of flexibility.  I created greeting cards by simply adding the card and sometimes an additional embellishment or stamp.

I used just the Petal Garden Memories and More Card Pack and added some coordinating paper from the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack for some backgrounds and envelope flaps.  It would be easy enough to add embellishments if you wanted to fancy them up, but I liked the simplicity of this set.

As easy as it is to use the cards to create greeting cards, it is just as easy to create 3-D items.

Memories and More can even be used to create a traditional scrapbook page.

Memories and More card packs come in these boxes that store nicely and take up very little space.

But for those of us who want more information on the packaging, Rae Anne and I decided we wanted to store them in the large stamp cases, and she created a great label for our kits.

Daisy Delight Thank You

I've been having fun creating cards for my Quick and Easy Cards class on Monday.  There's just something about a card that doesn't have a lot of layers and that goes together quickly.  I know I sometimes subscribe to the more is better philosophy when simple can be quite stunning.   I was inspired to put the white daisy on the coordinating Designer Series Paper and then on white again after seeing a box made by a demo in Europe.  While the box was not quick and easy, the white on DSP on white is, and I knew I wanted to do something along those lines.

Sealed with Love Valentine

I spent some time this weekend getting ready for my Stamp-a-Stack next weekend.  I am pretty pleased with my cards this month and we will be doing 4 designs instead of the usual 3.  Here is the Valentine card we'll be doing.

Here's a close-up of the envelope.  Such a fun little detail!
