Thinking Spring with the New To Go Kit
I was a little later this month getting the February To Go kit ready, and clearly I was thinking spring when I was designing these cards. I am ready for green grass and some spring flowers to start peeking up.
Porch pick up is available now for $20 and $24 to mail the kit. You will get all the pieces pre-cut and pre-punched to make 2 each of these 4 cards. All you'll need is adhesive, ink and greetings stamps.

2020 Christmas Tags
Many years ago, I started doing a Christmas tags class. It's become a popular class and so much fun. It usually brings a different group of stampers because we all have very different ways to wrap and tag our gifts. I wanted to do it again this year, but I had to make a few changes since it would be a to go kit. We normally make 2 each of 15 different tags but this year we made 3 each of 10 different tags and very little stamping. I had tags, die cuts and ribbons precut so all my stampers had to do was assemble and stamp it with a to and from.

Reindeer Season's Greetings Christmas Card
I've always loved plaid so when I flipped through the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper, this piece jumped out at me! And it paired pretty well with a glittery reindeer! I needed a bigger greeting so I pulled this favorite out of the Snowflake Sentiments.

March Keep It Simple Cards
I'm definitely thinking spring as I type about my March Keep It Simple card class. It's snowing right now, but there is promise of warmer weather later this week. While my cards aren't overly springy, it certainly was on my mind as I was creating!
Thanks to some talented demos, I CASED each of these and made slight changes to all of them. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, it means Copy And Share with Everyone. So you never need to let a creative slump keep you from stamping a beautiful card. Thanks to Fran Sabad for the tennis shoes, Katherine Anderson for the Celebrate You, Windy Ellard for the bird's nest and Amanda Bates for the mountain scene.
Email me if you'd like to join us to make these 4 cards Thursday night!
This month's hostess code is ZY9D76K6. Please use this when placing an order to receive a small thank you gift from me. If you are ordering more than $150, you'll want to keep the hostess benefits for yourself, so please don't enter the code. Be sure to click "yes" for contact so I can send you a small thank you gift! Party Pandas Birthday Card
Who wouldn't like getting this cute Party Panda in the mail? I've combined it with Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper for this cheerful little greeting. Both of these products are Sale-a-bration items available for you to choose when you spend $50 or more.

Heartfelt Blooms Sympathy
This beautiful Heartfelt Blooms stamp set is one of the choices you could make from the Sale-a-bration catalog when you spend $50. It's such a beautiful set and can create a quick card. With three stamps of the flower and one of the words, the card is done. I think we all are guilty of trying to make a card "just right" sometimes, when all we need to do is put the ink to the paper and put it in the mail.

Cool Treats Holder
Doesn't this paper and stamp set just make you think about warm weather? It's going to be record breaking warm today so I'm getting my stamping done this morning and plan some yard work for this afternoon.
We'll be making this clever little box Tuesday night at my stamp class. The Cool Treats stamp set and product suite is about my all time favorite in this catalog!

Silica Gel Bead Shaker Cards
One of my favorite ideas from my demo last week was to dye silica gel bead with reinker. I'm talking about those little packets that come in shoe boxes, purses etc., that if you're like me, you usually pitch. I put out the call on Facebook, and my friends were great at rounding them up for me. Who knew? There a big packets in electronics. That will make a lot of shaker cards!
I found this idea on Pinterest from Carrie Rhodes. It's so simple but does require a little planning ahead. I liked to dye my beads and let them dry overnight.
Open several packets into a container. I used empty embellishment boxes. I may not save my silica packets, but I have saved a ton of those because I knew they'd come in handy some day! Squirt 3 or 4 drops of reinker into the container, put the lid on and shake. Open up and give then just one spritz of water and then spread them on a paper towel to dry. Voila! Shaker beads of any color.
I figured I'd would send some people home with a sample so I made this Sweet card for my swap.
For this submarine card, I mixed a few colors of beads for a slightly different effect.
The fun thing about these beads is that they take up dye differently. So you'll have a different look and size even with the same color. I'm looking forward to doing more of these!
