Fancy Favor Daffodil Box

I first saw this idea at a Stampin' Up convention a couple of years ago.  Make a second fancy favor box, cut the tabs off and close the bottom with a ribbon.  Put it on another box upside-down to create a "lid".

I saw this daffodil on Pinterest and followed the link to Glenda's blog.  I thought it would be a great way to decorate the box for spring.

Madison Avenue Tunnel Card

I am loving the quick and easy cards you can create with this Madison Avenue stamp set. But for an added surprise, I used the coordinating DSP, Sycamore Street, to make a tunnel card.

The tunnel paper needs to be as wide your card, but the height can change based on your plan.  Here's a view from the side.

Shaving Cream Birthday Card

This technique is an oldie but a goodie.  Drop a few drops of reinker into a pile of shaving cream, tap glossy cardstock into it, wipe off excess shaving cream and voila.  No two cards will be alike.  I used Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, and Pumpkin Pie.

Valentine Treats

It's been a busy week for me, and as a result, I have been neglecting my blogging...well thanks to a snow day at my house, I am going to get some catching up done!  My neighbor shoveled my driveway last night so first order of business today was to bake some cookies.  I'll do some blogging next and then head to the craft room for a scrapbook layout for next week's scrapbook club.  Let me know if you'd like to join us as a guest.

Here's my long overdue Valentine "card" for my students.  They are so funny when opening their cards because they are surprised and feel they need to tell me they got one from me.  Yes, I know.  I put it there.  This is not unlike running in to them in public and them telling me the next day at school that they saw me.  Yes, I know.  We talked to each other :-)  One of the many reasons I like teaching first grade.

I found this idea on Laura's blog via Pinterest.

Sale-a-bration Madison Avenue

The great things about Sale-a-bration is the free stuff!  This card was made with the free Madison Avenue stamp set and coordinating DSP.  I did use the words from Bloomin' Marvelous (also free).

Thinking of You

I'm in the midst of making Valentines but this was a quick thinking of you card.  I used my blender pen to remove the Crumb Cake ink from the stamp and colored the birds blue.  I also make one in red which would make a great Christmas card!

My Digital Studio Valentine

I saw this idea on Pinterest and knew I needed to make a couple for my bubble gum-loving niece and nephew.  I made a quick label on My Digital Studio and attached it to a container of Bubble Tape.  Talk about easy!  I popped them into a bubble mailer and off they went for an after school surprise.

Bordering on Romance Birthday Card

Do you ever struggle with color combination ideas?  Look no farther than your catalog.  The Simply Scrappin' Razzleberry Splash Kit on page 168 uses these colors.  I added the Crumb Cake background and used my blender pens to color the flower with the featured colors.  I really liked the Rich Razzleberry and Pink Pirouette together on the flower.

There's Only One You Flowers

This card features the vase from the Button Buddies Stamp set with a few punched flowers in place of flowers on the stamp.  A strip of Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper and a couple of strips punched from the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch and you have a quick card.  Switch up the vase color, DSP and flowers and you have a very different card.  The greeting comes from the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Vintage Verses.

Happy Valentine's Day Card

I pinned Karen Graff-Povis's card on Pinterest awhile back because I really liked the layout.  I thought it would be a great layout for our Valentine Stamp-a-Stack card, and all of my stampers seemed to agree.  It is such a versatile layout that it would work with so many different Designer Series Papers and coordinating stamp sets.
