This cute Foxy Friends stamp set was one I knew I needed to buy when I got my first look at the catalog. Oh and the popcorn box thinlit - that one too! So I combine two of my new favorites for a project for stamp class last week. But that piece of DSP from the A Little Foxy Designer Series paper Stack added that extra touch.

Birthday Spinner Card
Have you made a slider card before? Long ago I used a razor blade or the word window punch, but not anymore! The new Sliding Star framelits are fantastic. There is a coordinating stamp set, Shooting Star, but I did not order it. There are so many uses for the framelits even without the coordinating stamp set. This card was inspired by my friend Cheryl, who demonstrated several creative ways to use the framelits. And last night at stamp class, this one was one of the favorites of my stampers.

Love and Affection Swap Card
Before the new catalog came out, I participated in a swap with other area demonstrators. I knew right away when I put in my pre-order that the new set, Love and Affection, would be my choice for swapping. It has so many beautiful coordinating products to go with it that I knew I could create a lovely card. I chose to use a piece of the Affectionately Yours specialty designer series paper, and I cut the flowers by hand for a little extra pop.

Wherever You Go Card
I think Stampin' Up! has done a great job adding several new stamp sets that can be used to make masculine cards to this new catalog. Rae Anne came over last night and needed a Father's Day card so out came this brand new set. This card is nearly like the card in the catalog, but there is something about having the real card in your hand vs. seeing it in the catalog. I love it so much more in real life.
