This was just a quick card I put together with the Crazy About You stamp set in the occasions catalog. It didn't make the cut for a stamp-a-stack project, but still a cheerful, happy card that would be fun to get in the mail.

Flower Patch FMS179
I was looking for a little inspiration when I started stamping today and thought I would go with Challenge #179 over at Freshly Made Sketches. I knew I wanted to use Flower Patch since it had been out of the rotation during the winter months, and the two came together nicely!
Chalkboard Technique Easel Birthday Card
Oh I just love this card! We did it at my embossing class and it features the chalkboard technique. Angie Hutton's blog gave me the idea to actually make it into an easel when doing a quick search on Pinterest for Chalkboard Technique. To create a chalkboard technique project, emboss with white embossing powder. Then with a sponge, dab white ink on the dark cardstock to "smudge" it and make it look like a used chalkboard.

Project Life
I'm loving Project Life and how easy it's making my memory keeping. I plan to do a mixture of traditional scrapbooking and Project Life.

Yellow Easel
Here's one of the projects we did last month at my heat embossing class. We embossed on the vellum and then colored the backside to give a "stained glass" look. By creating the easel card, it left room for a battery votive candle. The black center of the flower is also heat embossed!

For Peeps' Sake Easter Card
The For Peeps' Sake stamp set in the Occasions Catalog was one of those sets I knew I'd be ordering on my first flip through the catalog. This stamp is my favorite in the set so of course the decision was easy when designing a stamp-a-stack Easter card. I colored these little chicks with my markers and stamped 3 times across the cardstock, and then I finished the card off with some fringed scissors grass.

I'm looking forward to passing out a few of these at Easter. Just a quick stamp with VersaMark, heat emboss, and fill!

Banana Bars
I served this yummy banana bar at my March Stamp-a-Stack. It was delicious. Click here if you want the recipe for yourself. Click here to see my Pinterest board with some of the other treats we've enjoyed.

St. Patrick's Day Just For You
I was in a St. Patrick's Day mood after creating my monthly plate design, but St. Patrick's Day wasn't one of the cards we were making for the March Stamp-a-Stack. So I decided to call it a bonus card for anyone who wanted to make one more card. I used the Work of Art stamp set for the stamping and punched small hearts for the shamrock - quick and easy!

Lotus Blossom
Here's one of the cards we will be making this weekend at our March Stamp-a-Stack. This Lotus Blossom stamp set is a free Sale-a-bration set that will no longer be available after March 31 so I decided to squeeze in one more card. I worked at making it different from the other two we've done by adding the layered technique and a bow.

St. Patrick's Day Plate
Here's my March swap to replace the Valentine plate I posted yesterday. I've got it on an end table with a small Longaberger basket. I must say they look good together! The glass plate doesn't photograph well so I included two shots.

Valentine Decor
I am slow to get this posted, but I have enjoyed seeing these projects in my house for the last few weeks. I am doing a swap organized by my downline and friend, Rae Anne, around monthly themes. We each will create a new version of our project and share them each month.
This lovely framed art was made by Becky Prather
This Valentine tree was made by Rae Anne Littrell
I did this plate and will switch out the magnet insert.
