Trick or Treat

Have you had enough Halloween candy yet?  I think I might have had a record number of trick or treaters last night, and the kids at school were full of trick or treating stories today!

We made this last month at club, and those ladies had the patience to make a pattern with their M & Ms.  As you can see, that wasn't what I was going for.

These fun little cello bags are great for a small but unique treat.  Just think of the possibilities for Christmas!

Wicked Cool Waterfall

We made Halloween cards using Wicked Cool on Friday night.  And while talking to my friend, Mary, about waterfall cards, I realized this set would be perfect for a waterfall card since all of the stamps are about the same size.  I used some of the same colors and stamps as we did Friday night to make this card.  So by combining ideas from another card and a technique I have done before, this was a pretty quick project.

The words Trick or Treat, Scary and Sweet comes from the Grateful Greetings set, and I used En Francais, and of course Wicked Cool.  I used a couple of Glimmer Brads for a little bit of color on the Rich Razzleberry/Whisper White combo.  For more information about waterfall cards, visit this post.

Wicked Cool Halloween

I am getting ready for this Friday's Stamp-a-Stack where we'll be making a Halloween card, a Fall card and a Thanksgiving card.  I made some changes to this Halloween card I made for my convention swap for our first one.

Spooky Treat Box

With a few folds and twists, this this spider web becomes a cute little Halloween treat box:

I used the new Candy Wrapper Bigz L Die and Spider Web Impressions Embossing Folder to make this quick little treat box.  I usually give my second graders pencils and teachery gifts for Halloween, but this is pretty tempting for this stamping teacher!  Maybe I will just have to make a few for my special trick-or-treaters.

This box twists up and actually does stay by itself, but I liked the added ribbon with the touch of white along the edge.

Spooky Swap

This must be my most popular convention swap - I ran out of this one first!  I have seen a few other swaps with it, but not too many.  Tomorrow night (well actually it is tomorrow already!) all of my friends and I will be sharing pizza and looking at each other's swaps - I will be on the lookout for more ideas for one of my favorite new sets.  Always a fun way to spend the evening.
